  • Long time industry supplier BIMEX Corp., will be attending its first HFTCE show this year as an exhibitor. This marks a deepening of its partnership with BOROFEN resin producer Fenolit d.d. with whom they have been working for the last 25 years. It is also a chance for BIMEX and Fenolit to show off their new RCS resin products and expanding range of very low VOC resin products.

  • Properties:    Borofen BG-100/LWS is a phenol-formaldehyde novolak resin in pastille form with good general performance characteristics. All Fenolit resins contain 0.0% free formaldehyde.

    Application:   Borofen BG-100/LWS is used as a binder (Croning process) in resin coated sand for proppants with very good bonding strength and excellent fluid compatibility.

    APPLICATION: Borofen BG – 100/LW is a novolak resin suitable for the production of coated proppants according to the Croning process, and as a binder for other applications. BG-100/LW has been specifically formulated for high pressure deep well operations.

  • PROPERTIES:   Borofen BG-99/M is a phenol-formaldehyde novolak resin in pastille form with an extremely low free phenol content and good general performance characteristics. All Fenolit resins contain 0.0% free formaldehyde.

    APPLICATION:   Borofen BG-99/M is used as a binder for coated proppants according to the shell molding (“Croning”) process. Borofen BG-99/M has been specifically formulated for coated proppants used in high pressure, deep well operations. Borofen BG-99/M has been specifically formulated to have minimal environmental impact, resulting in a resin with maximum VOC's of 1000 ppm.
