• Chevron has licensed the cloud-based Peloton Platform (Jun 07, 2022)

  Peloton, the global leader in software solutions for the E&P industry, announced today that Chevron, the second-largest oil company in the U.S., has licensed Peloton’s cloud-based Peloton Platform solution for Well Data Management. Peloton’s technology allows Chevron to view its multiple well sites worldwide and manage vital operational data within one solution, saving time while reducing cost and risk. Chevron is implementing the Peloton Platform for all its operations across 27+ countries.

  Developed in partnership with Microsoft Azure, the Peloton Platform delivers an enhanced end-user experience to oil and gas companies around the world, allowing them to view and manage vital operational data across three solution areas integrated into one fully hosted platform. Significant economies of scale are achieved by managing all three solutions in one Platform, along with the extensibility of using both commercial integrations across the solutions and tailored integrations through the Platform ETL and Web API.

  WellView Allez is the evolution of WellView on the Peloton Platform incorporating new technology and data model enhancements. This new, innovative, and intuitive interface provides real-time automation, integration, and visualization for trusted data analysis and optimization. • Peloton Achieves SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance, Demonstrating Commitment as a Safe and Secure Software Solution (Jun 07, 2022)

  Peloton, the global leader in data management software solutions for the energy industry, announces it has achieved System and Organization Controls (SOC 1 and SOC 2) Type 2 compliance, a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Achieving this compliance demonstrates how Peloton safeguards customer data and maintains effective controls. The examination was performed by Armanino LLP.

  SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports provide valuable information that customers need to assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced service.

  • SOC 1 audited Peloton’s controls relevant to a customer’s financial reporting. The audit included Peloton’s Well Data Lifecycle, Production Data Lifecycle and Land Data Management solutions.
  • SOC 2 audited Peloton’s Platform controls relevant to the Trust Services Criteria: security and availability.

• Peloton Collaborates with Sfile Technology (Jun 07, 2022)

  Peloton is pleased to announce that our Well Data Lifecycle Team is now collaborating with Sfile, a cognitive computing company.

  The opportunity to align Sfiles’ technology with Peloton’s Platform solutions, will enhance our clients’ ability to access and analyze their operational data, improve decision making and optimize opportunities.

  Sfile uses cognitive computing and machine learning to train bots and AI agents that autonomously mine unstructured data to accelerate and exchange advanced analytics. With Sfile, Peloton’s Well Data Lifecycle Team realizes the opportunity to apply new approaches to two old challenges. First, how to best transform disparate unstructured data sets into structured and consistently coded information. Second, the application of data science techniques to the analysis of the data. The solution is to leverage Sfile’s tools to mine the data, load it into our data platforms and apply advanced analytics to the data.
