• SRD – Inline Density Meter & Viscometer

Rheonics SRD measures density, viscosity (dynamic and kinematic), and temperature simultaneously from a single probe, installed directly in active mud systems, cement slurries, and frac and completion fluids. Its balanced torsional resonator is unaffected by flow rate, vibration and mounting orientation, and has no moving parts to wear or clog, so readings stay reliable on the rig floor and in the field, with no routine recalibration.

The SRD probe can be rated up to 285 °C and 1500 bar, built in 316L stainless steel or Hastelloy C22 for sour service, and available with intrinsically safe certification for hazardous areas, including ATEX, IECEx and HazLoc. Smart sensor electronics allow the addition of specific gravity and concentration mathematical models. While native 4–20 mA, Modbus, HART, PROFINET, among other protocols, enable direct integration to existing rig and plant control systems, enabling automated fluid management, earlier detection of kicks and losses, and tighter chemical dosing.
...

 • SRV - Inline Viscosimeter

Rheonics SRV measures viscosity (dynamic and kinematic) and temperature simultaneously from a single probe, installed directly in EOR polymer solutions, frac fluids and friction reducers, chemical injection lines, and crude and heavy oil streams. • SDP – Sand Detector Probe

Rheonics SDP detects the presence and accumulation of sand and solids in real time, installed directly in desanders, separators, wellhead flowlines and production pipelines. Based on the same balanced torsional resonator technology, it has no moving parts to wear, clog or foul, so it keeps working in abrasive, high-pressure production streams with zero maintenance or servicing.

The SDP probe can be rated up to 285 °C and 1500 bar (20,000 psi), built in 316L stainless steel, and available with intrinsically safe certification for hazardous areas, including ATEX, IECEx, JPEx and KCs. It ships with Rheonics Ostrich software, which distinguishes sand, water and gas phases and logs detection history. While native 4–20 mA, Modbus, HART, PROFINET, among other protocols, enable direct integration to existing plant control systems, enabling automated purge valve actuation, optimized desander cycles, and early warning of sand breakthrough and erosion risk.
...

 • DVM – HPHT Density & Viscosity Sensor

Rheonics DVM sensor simultaneously measures density, viscosity, and temperature of liquids and gases under true high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions (reservoir conditions), making it ideal for PVT studies, EOR research, and demanding oil & gas applications. Its patented balanced torsional resonator provides highly accurate, repeatable measurements with a measurement time of less than 4 seconds, while requiring less than 0.7 mL of fluid for simultaneous density and viscosity measurement.

Designed for reservoir conditions, the DVM probe can be configured for pressures up to 2,000 bar (30,000 psi) and temperatures up to 200 °C (400 °F), with full Titanium Grade 5 wetted parts for robust operation. The sensor measures Newtonian and non-Newtonian, single-phase fluids and delivers density measurements from 0–1.5 g/cc with an accuracy of 0.001 g/cc and viscosity from 0.2–300 cP with accuracy up to 1% of actual value. Its compact design integrates easily with existing PVT systems.
...

 • DVP – In-line HPHT Density & Viscosity Sensor

Rheonics DVP is an in-line, real-time density and viscosity sensor designed for continuous monitoring of oil & gas process fluids, including gases and LNG, among other industries and applications. Combining density, viscosity and temperature measurement in a single compact instrument, the DVP provides accurate and repeatable fluid property data under demanding process conditions, supporting process monitoring, optimization and control.

Its patented balanced torsional resonator is highly resistant to vibration, shocks, flow variations and challenging EMI environments, enabling reliable measurements in industrial installations. With full Titanium Grade 5 construction and hermetically sealed metal-to-metal process sealing, the DVP can operate at pressures up to 1,000 bar (15,000 psi) and temperatures up to 200 °C (400 °F), with custom configurations available for LNG applications. It measures density from 0–1.5 g/cc with an accuracy of 0.001 g/cc and viscosity from 0.2–300 cP with an accuracy up to 1% of the actual value. Compatible with Newtonian and non-Newtonian, single-phase fluids, with direct integration into PLC, IP, cloud and edge control systems.
...
