  • The NEWTON SYSTEM incorporates downhole sensors that record tubing pressure, annulus pressure, weight, torque, gamma, temperature, gravity toolface, vibration and inclination. The tool can be programmed to transmit measurement data from any sensors at specified intervals. All data are stored in the tool’s memory for post-well analysis.
    The tool performs both the function of developing force to advance the coil and coding pressure pulses to transmit sensor data to the surface. The axial force generated by the tool advances the BHA in the horizontal section of the well while better than any other ER tool on the market, all while sending real-time, downhole data to surface.
    Real-time surface display of downhole weight improves the ability to time-drill plugs and reduce cutting size, aiding in hole cleaning and coil advancement.
    The NEWTON SYSTEM is made up in the BHA directly above the downhole motor during millout operations so measurements are taken as close to the bit as possible.

  • The NEWTON SYSTEM incorporates downhole sensors that record gamma, tubing pressure, annulus pressure, temperature, gravity toolface, vibration and inclination. The tool can be programmed to transmit measurement data to surface, wirelessly, from any sensors at specified intervals. All data are stored in the tool’s memory for post-well analysis.
    The tool codes its sensor data into pressure pulses that travel in the fluid column, up to surface. This data can be used to correlate depth in real-time, indicate which lateral a string is located, provide downhole breakdown and treating pressures, and more.
    Real-time display of radioactive tags improves depth correlation and eliminates the need for additional memory or prep runs.
    The NEWTON SYSTEM is made up in the BHA without any need for running fiber or wires downhole. At 2-3/8", it fits into virtually any BHA.
