  • The OmniLog lateral profile is a cost-effective approach for every well that uses drilling and other existing data to provide a well log of rock heterogeneity along the wellbore. The system uses a proprietary six-step process to refine the collected data and create an accurate log of rock properties that can be used stand-alone, or as input into the PerfAct applications. OmniLog results can be combined with other measurements such as Gamma Ray, mud logs, gas detector data, and mass spectroscopy results.

    An average 27% improvement in well performance has been achieved through OmniLog lateral profile service and PerfAct optimization, based on comparisons to offsetting standardized completions of 108 wells in a variety of basins.

  • The PerfAct engine helps you to design completions incorporating the uniqueness of each lateral within an efficient workflow – ensuring that each well’s unique characteristics are given full consideration without disrupting the efficiency of the manufacturing environment.

    The PerfAct engine uses OmniLog measurements to minimize rock property heterogeneity within completion stages and incorporates additional measurements such as gas detector readings, mass spectroscopy of gas shows, or any other depth-based data that is available including considerations for perforation phasing, induced stress, and perforation friction. 

    The engine instantly analyzes any number of depth-referenced curves. Refined MSE, gamma ray, sonic, mud logs, and other measured or implied properties are weighted and simultaneously analyzed to create your optimal solution. Perforation depths are outputed so that optimization is based on rock properties and their position relative to other clusters within the same stage.

  • FracCheck diagnostic tool creates a model for the near wellbore, relating rock properties, reservoir parameters, and their impact on completion results. It provides mapping of the combined rock and reservoir properties along the lateral to identify sections with the most cost-effective, impact on completion results.

    The analysis uses drilling data including geosteering data, gas shows, frac stage treatment data, and reservoir knowledge. The diagnostics provide data driven, cost-effective changes to the completion plan, using all available, near-wellbore data, better defining relationships between parameters such as breakdown pressure, pad pressure, volume-to-rate pumped, rock strength, and heterogeneity.
