Advanced Energy Consortium at the University of Texas, Austin
Enabling worldwide adoption of breakthrough nanotechnology for sustainable energy production
The Advanced Energy Consortium’s mission is to develop breakthrough nanotechnology that enables transformational improvements in subsurface sensing, energy recovery, and environmental protection. Our unique industry/academic collaborative research model has resulted in over 40 patents and 300 papers since 2008. This approach has enabled rapid prototyping of applied nanotechnology concepts for various applications such as production optimization, CCS, wellbore integrity, cement monitoring, and renewable energy.
